To join Trivial, there are a few things you should know and do:

  1. Read the rules first.
  2. If you are looking to be a social member, and you have a friend in the guild, just ask for an invite.
  3. If you are looking to be a social member, but you don’t know anyone in the guild yet, write an application. You apply the same way as a raider, but you only need to answer the non-raiding questions.
  4. If you want to raid with Trivial, you will need to fill out the application – further down this page. It will take 10-15 minutes to answer all the questions.
  5. If you want to post a private application, talk to an officer.
  6. If you don’t want to fill out an application, we can conduct an interview instead. This will take longer than filling out the application, pose all the same questions, and we will want to know what is so terrible about writing a few words (of course there are valid reasons, but we’ll ask and pry a bit extra).

The reason we ask for an application is because it gives us a lot of useful information about you as a player and a person. It is also a nice first test to see that we can understand your written language and that you can take your time to do tasks that have been assigned to you.

Below you’ll find the application template. Copy it, answer all the questions, and post the whole thing as a new thread on our forums. When we have read your application, we will respond to the thread. You will need to register an account on the forums, but we will not mail anything to you besides a registration confirmation. Your account will be deleted if your application is declined, we will not keep your information on file, and you’re free to use a throw-away address. We do not store user account details for members who have left the guild and no one is able to read your password.
